Code Composer Studio (CCS) and Compiler:

  • CCS Version
    • Minimum requirement: CCS v6.2.0.00050
    • Recommended: CCS v7.0.x
  • CCS - TI C2000 Device Support Package (CCSv7 Required. Check CCS for updates.)

    • Minimum requirement: v4.2.3.0
    • Contains the F28004x CCS device, gel, and register files for project setup and debugging
    • Contains the F28004x flash plug-in support (Flash API User Guide: http://www.ti.com/lit/spnu628)

  • C28x Compiler (CCSv6 - Requires Installation, CCSv7 - Included in Installation)
    • Minimum requirement: v16.9.1.LTS
    • F28004x examples setup and tested using this version.
  • Always check CCS updates for the latest version of the compiler, flash programming, and device configuration files
