Blinky for CCSv6?

I've just got my TMS570LS04 LaunchPad box & installed current version of CCS which is 6.0.1 I believe

I was looking to try the Blinky example from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:TMS570#Training but it's for CCSv4 and my CCSv6 does not want to import it:

I wonder if anyone has a current basic project or HOWTO document? It would be nice to blink a couple of LEDs in order to learn the new environment. Should I install the older CCSv4?

  • Andrey,

This project will not work with CCS6. You can create a new CCS project with the same source files.

    Thanks and regards,

  • Do you know if anyone is in charge of keeping http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:TMS570#Training up to date? I know the Hercules platform is not targeted at a wide audience but some amount of documentation would help.
