Jtag connector figure of MSP FET430UIF

Hello!

I want to see Jtag connector figure of MSP FET430UIF.

I don't know how to design 14pin connector array in msp430 board.

Please let me know where can I find it.

  • Hi , please refer below connection formate.

connector J2 is for selection of power supply  on board/jtag.

  • Hi,

You can find information about all the correct connections for using the MSP-FET430UIF in the Hardware Tools User's Guide Figures 2-1, 2-2, or 2-3 depending on your device and if you are doing full 4-wire JTAG or SBW (2-wire). Please also refer to these figures when designing your board - if you vary even a little from these connections, the FET tool may not work correctly with your board.

    Regards,

    Katie

  • Thank for your help.

But I want to see not electronic circuit drawing but mechanical drawing.

For example, I want to know where is pin #1 in top view of JTAG connector on board.

  • Maybe this will help - if you have the notch (key-ing) on the top, while you are looking down at the board, the upper-right corner pin is pin 1 with all of the other odd-numbered pins in the top row, incrementing from right to left. The lower-right corner would be pin 2, with all of the other even-numbered pins in the bottom row, incrementing from right to left. See the picture below where I labeled the corner pins:

    Regards,

    Katie
