i have ez430rf2500 kit in college. when TI people conducted a workshop they dumped demo program.
now,when i tried to dump some other program,the code is compiled with no errors.but when i click debug and download,i get the following dialog box.
emulator: fatal error.
check if hardware is connected.
check if drivers are installed.
try to restart the computer
windows vista doesn't support parallel port.
session aborted!
when i tried to follow the installation steps of the kit,as the kit already has a demo prog,i directly got msp430 uart application in device manager without manually installing hardware.the gui demo program is running whenever i connect the usb to pc.but iar is not recognizing the hardware.
i dididn't even get"found new hardware". but the previously loaded code is working properly whenever i connect it to usb.i'm using windows7.
is there any way to stop previous program from running to reprogram it?
some body,plz help.
