LM4F with ethernet.

Anyone know if and when the TI will launch LM4F with ethernet?

  • Hi Ari,

We continuously strive to offer compelling products in our portfolio. For details on product roadmap and release schedule, may I suggest that you contact your local TI sales engineer? He/she are equipped with tools and resources to provide you that information.

  • We know that you don't make the rules/regulations - however "deflecting/delaying" this customer's reasonable purchase request appears to counter the claim and/or seeming Fast Growth of Stellaris MCU Business." featured so prominently w/in your signature block!

Several hundred forum users (large % qualified) may quickly, efficiently receive such welcome news - adding road-blocks - requiring multiple, extra efforts - seems questionable.  Of course you're afraid of competitors - however if "nuclear secrets" can't be maintained - a determined group can surely probe new MCU releases - need not "camp" here!

Perhaps the "Fast Growth" emphasis can/should be "tad toned-down" when "message conveyed" sails so hard against it...  (consistency trumps flag-waving...)  Clearly you're not the first to suggest "contact later, shhh (privately)" - however you are the first to delightfully interweave Fast Growth with this Sales road-block...

  • The lack of ethernet connectivity for Stellaris M4 does seem an absolutely glaring omission - especially considering that Stellaris M3 remains one of the few (even the only?) M3 with complete (MAC+PHY) on-chip ethernet....

Shhhh - shouldn't such info be conveyed "only" to your TI Sales Rep???  (and quickly...)
