I recently received the LaunchPad, downloaded every software and driver package I could find, and I can't seem to install the drivers. I have downloaded the Stellaris ICDI drivers, and the Windows 8 computer I am using sees it, but cannot install. I attached the result below, and the SAME thing happens for all 3 driver install attempts.
I am not extremely computer savvy, I am an EET student working on a biomedical device as a Senior project. My school does not teach with the TI peripherals/boards (although even with the issues I'm having, TI is better than Motorola).
I referred to the SPMU287B document, and followed the instructions for WINDOWS 8 installation. Here's what I get:
