TM4C1294NCPDT: TM4C1294NCPDT interface with SD card

Hi Sir,

I am interfacing the microSD card using push-push type slot connected to TM4C1294NCPDT. If i am using Bidirectional SSI mode. Whether below circuits is sufficient orelse i need add the 10kohm pull to Vdd.

Kindly suggest it

I will suggest you take a look at the DK-TM4C129 EVM board schematic where the microSD is implemented. Please go to page 31. www.ti.com/.../spmu360a.pdf

Hi Sir,

Thanks for your information. I have go through the spmu360.pdf, my uploaded circuit for microSD card same like this except 10k pull up resistor across RSV pin. I have a doubt, to improve the EMC whether filter is required across the clk signal ???

Hi Nishitha,
I tend to think that you don't need a filter for the CLK. The CLK pin will be of 2mA drive strength and looking at the datasheet at 2mA the pin rise time is about 7.85ns Nom or 11.73nS Max. I don't think the edge is sharp enough. What do you think?
