Miracast on Panda5AJ.1.5 Android release?

Under "Settings->Display", I see no option for "Wireless Display".  I would like to use the platform for miracast.   Any suggestions on a fix for this?

    I also would like to know how to enable this option for MIRACAST.

    I would imagine there will be an xml file similar to WiFi Direct (below) -- but can't figure out exactly which.

            -> frameworks/native/data/etc/android.hardware.wifi.direct.xml:system/etc/permissions/android.hardware.wifi.direct.xml

    I am on 4.2.2.

    Can somebody answer this question?

    Hi Scott,

    Miracast is not supported in the current release of Android JB 5AJ1.5 on OMAP5432 uEVM. For further support on this please conatct our recommended scaling partners.

    Miracast support should be built-in as part of Android 4.2.2 support.  Are there any plans of doing this in the next OMAP5 release?  Also what is the timeline for the next OMAP5 release?

    Saw this in the Android 5AJ.1.5 Release Notes.

    Appendix C: Enabling Wi-Fi Display sink feature

    It then gives instructions on how to apply patches to enable this feature.  Sound like Miracast, or is it TI's own implementation of something like Miracast?

    We are not able to bring up the miracast functionality on panda 5

    HTC one and Panda 5 wifi direct observation:

    We were able to connect HTC one with panda5 through Wifi direct. We were able to successfully transfer media content from HTC one to panda5 and vice versa using Super beam app.

    HTC one and Panda5 miracast observation:

    We applied all the patches shared in the link https://github.com/kensuke/How-to-Miracast-on-AOSP on

    Android JellyBean 4.2.2 and flashed this source code in panda5 only.Installed the mira4u app on Panda5 only.

    SINK =OMAP5

    SOURCE = HTC one /NEXUS4

    We tried all the options available in the mira4u app still the devices failed to perform the miracast functionality.

    We are not aware of the mira4u apk usage. So please can you provide step by step details on how to use the mira4u app?

    p.s : attached the htc one and panda5 logs for the miracast use case.

    steps followed for miracast on HTC one and panda5:

    1. Enabling wireless display option on Panda5 - success.

    2. Enabling Wifi direct option on both the device - success.

    3. Establishing the wifi direct connection between the device - success.

    4. Panda5 is listed as miracast/wirless display device in HTC and tried to establish the miracast, but failed.
