Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78350
I am designing a battery pack that will be completely closed up and would like to boot up a Shutdown/Ship pack by placing it onto our charger. Reading the documentation and EVM manual, it looks like you need a pulse on TS1 at boot up. I would then assume that the voltage source would need to be removed as the TS1 pin is used for a thermistor. I have a MCU as well as the BQ78350, but my MCU will be powered off during Shutdown/Ship mode. Do you have any reference circuits on how to handle booting up without temporarily connecting a supply (Cell1 in ref design) to this pin via a switch?
