AWR2243: support RADAR_AWR2243?

Part Number: AWR2243

Hi Team,

When the customer checked the PDK driver, he found that it supports RADAR_AWR12xx. He would like to know:

1. Does PROCESSOR_SDK_RADAR_03_08 not support RADAR_AWR22xx?

2. Where can he download the SDK that supports RADAR_AWR22xx?

    Hello Annie,

    Since your target device is the AWR2243, the recommendation would be to use the mmWave device firmware package (DFP). This package provides all the drivers needed on the host side to program the AWR2243 device. The interface Control document lists in detail all the APIs available in the device with descriptions about all the parameters.

    The processor radar SDK currently has support for first generation front-end devices only (specifically AWR1243) and mmWave SDK is targeted primarily for standalone Radar SoCs, like the AWR1642 and AWR1843.

    That being said, the recommendation would be to download the firmware from the link listed above.
