In my design, I use tps2400.

Recently. I process 50 pieces of new circuit board, there are 6 pieces is not normal due to tps2400.

when I change the chip of tps2400, the 6 pieces of circuit board are back to normal.

it seams that the probability of bad tps2400 is relatively large, more than 10%.

It seems that you had issues with your system design and an e2e discussion chain in January. It seemed like there was an issue of the source not being able to handle the inrush of your load. Did you ever resolve your system issues?

Please be specific about the circuit performance that did not meet your expectations.

you are right, I had issues with my system design on an e2e discussion chain in January. I have solved the problem after place 1uf capcity between the base of Q1 and gnd. And the phynomenon does not happen again I need to check it more.

But a new problem for me is that The probability of bad tps2400 from my new chip is relatively large

Have you provided any of the removed parts to TI for failure analysis. I've attached the form to fill out. It might also be good to furnish one or two IC's from the same reel which have not been put on your boards yet.
