TMDXEVM3358: Booting up without Daughter board and without LCD board

With the 3 boards: base, daughter and LCD board stacked up, and with sysboot[4:0] set to 00001b, I could see "CCCC.." appear on my TeraTerm screen when the system is powered up, the system then proceed to boot from SDCard without any problem.

But when I removed the daughter board and LCD board, powered up the base board, nothing appear on my TeraTerm screen.

Is it because the CPU does not boot at all ?

What are the signals needed from the daughter board to the base board in order for the baseboard to boot ?

And what kind of rework needed in order to boot up the base board without the daughter and LCD board ?

Hi,

The EVM is not designed to work with base board alone. You need to have all three boards connected.

Thanks for the reply.

In fact, the base board alone boot up successfully when I connected up the R68.

Perhaps there are other potential issues that I'm not aware yet.
