TMS320TCI6618 # of cores

Both TCI6618 em C6678 are 8 core DSPs. Why do you think TCI6618 is quad core?

Now I see and I'm really surprised. I always thought TCI6618 was an 8 core device and it's also strange a mistake like this in TI's page. At least you noticed the mistake.

Yes it's a strange mistake and I hope TI will correct it soon, especially because I am now comparing several DSPs with L1/L2 accelerators...

Yes, TCI6618 device is 4 core only device. We are trying to correct this error now.
