AM5718: Elliptic curve cryptography support

Part Number: AM5718

I just found in the TI Design Network: Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) (Application Software & Frameworks) mentioning ARM Cortex-A8.

Is there any ECC - Elliptic Curve Cryptography support available from TI or 3rd party to be used for AM57x or AM437x communication?

AM5718 is not a Cortex-A8 device, rather Cortex-A15 device. AM5718 Processor Linux SDK has openssl as part of SDK that support ECC and other crypto operations.

Please note ECC in AM57x is carried out on ARM Cortex-A15, there is no support for ECC hardware acceleration.

I know that AM57x is not Cortex-A8 and just wanted to mention that this 3rd party is supporting Cortex-A8 only.

Anyway, the hint for OpenSSL in the Linux SDK was helpful.
