What be a single 3.3/5V supply equivalent of TL074 JFET input quad amplifier?

I had some telephony call progress signals oscillator design using TL074 JFET input amplifier that used +/-5V supply. But now I want to do the same using a single supply OpAmp with Vcc of 3.3 or 5V. Looking for equivalent

    Hi Hemant,

    there's no simple answer. It depends on what parameters are important for you. Is it slew rate? Or noise? Best starting point is your circuits in which the TL074 was used. Try to find an OPAmp which makes these circuits to work as well as the TL074 did.

    The TLC074 is said to be a replacement for the TL074. But its phase margin is much less and some modifications of circuit may be needed. Also, its no rail-to-rail OPAmp. But with your new limited supply voltage range of 3.3...5V an "input output rail-to-rail" OPAmp (RRIO) would be heavily recommended.

    The TLV90xx series could be another option.

    Hello hemant,

    TL074 is a standard pinout. JFET can be upgraded to the many CMOS op amps available for 3.3V & 5V supply. TLV9054 is a good place to start.
