How to control the current and voltage slew rate during power on and power off ?

The sensors in my design are damaged, I think the hign in rush current is the reason for damaging.

I am wondering how I can control the current and voltage slew rate during power on and power off ?

May I use the low-pass filter made with capaciotrs and inductors to get what I want?

Hi David,

If possible, you could use a load switch with controllable rise time and integrated quick output discharge.

I would suggest taking a look at devices like TPS22950 and TPS22918 as these are able to discharge the output when disabled through a QOD resistor and when enabled perform a linear rise to clamp any inrush current.

Finally, I got schematic uploaded.

plz,help to check, I need +12V input instead +5.5V as TPS22950, TPS22918 need.

Hi David,

Have you taken a look at TPS22810? This device has controllable rise time and quick output discharge but can work up to voltages of 18V.

Hi David,

what sensor do you have? Why is it sensitive to power-on procedure? What current does it draw from the +15V supply?
