I was using CC26X2R1 launch pad for a while. Today while burning an hex file using Flash Programmer 2 , the XDS100 asked for an firmware update, upon clicking the update suddenly the Launch pad stopped working, the on boardLED's are not glowing and I cannot see the device details in the device manger. I am assuming that the XDS firmware has been corrupted. as it is not able to boot up. Is there any fixed , how shall I repair this. (CC2642R1/CC2652R1 Development Kit)

Hi Syed,

There are steps for Flashing the bootloader in instances such as this where the XDS110 is bricked during a firmware update. It basically involves powering off the board, grounding the JTAG TDO (pin 97 which is also located at the top-left pad of the 10-pin ARM connector nearest the USB connector when looking at the back of the LaunchPad) of the MSP432E401Y (also known as the TM4C1294NCPDT), connecting the XDS110 to power, removing the ground connection, and executing the xdsdfu from a command prompt. Please let me know if you are able to revive your device or have any questions about the instructions provided.
