I have the below queries regarding the selection of evaluation module. could somebody highlight the key differences between the various AM64x evaluation modules ? 

  • TMDS64GPEVM
  • SK-AM64
  • TMDS64EVM
  • SK-AM64B

Do you have any instruction for using the EVM of the SK?

Could you share the design tools used?

    Hi Board designers, 

    Refer below inputs for the queries related to the selection of evaluation module.

    1. TMDS64GPEVM (PROC101B): https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDS64GPEVM

    This is AM64x GP silicon based Evaluation Module EVM with discrete power solution + DDR4 and it will be obsolete after the current inventory is consumed.

    2. SK-AM64 (PROC100): https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM64

    This is AM64x GP silicon based Starter Kit SK with PMIC + LPDDR4 and it will be obsolete after the current inventory is consumed.

    3. TMDS64EVM (PROC101C): https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDS64EVM

    This is AM64x HS-FS silicon based Evaluation Module EVM with discrete power solution + DDR4 and will have long term support.

    4. SK-AM64B (PROC100A): https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM64B

    This is AM64x HS-FS silicon based Starter Kit SK with PMIC + LPDDR4 and will have long term support.

    Do you have any instruction for using the EVM of the SK?

    Refer known issues section in the user guide for the EVM or SK.
