    I'm not entirely sure as to why the DS specifies this, as the 74AC16245 (a very similar product with another tri-state buffer at the output) specifies either logic high or low (see page 3 of its DS) for its \OE pin. Thanks! Chad Crosby

    Hi Zoe, *Correction to my original post* Yes - there is a device that can source a bit more current, the 74AC16245. It's maximum output current is 400mA total. Can you tell me about the application? It's pretty rare to see a logic device being used…
