How to interface TMS320C6748 LCDK evm kit with ADS5231?

I want to do autocorrelation  of  signal having frequency upto 1MHZ. Our application requires ADC having sampling rate 10MSPS.I  want to interface TMS320C6748 LCDK evm kit with ADS5231(ADC).

How to interface TMS320C6748 LCDK evm kit with ADS5231?

How to do interfacing with upp pins? Please discuss it in detailed manner?

Where is the exact locations of upp pins on TMS320C6748 LCDK evm kit?

    Interfacing ADS5231 to stellaris LM3S9D90

    Hi all

I want to interface ADS5231 12 bit parallel ADC with  Stellaris LM3S9D90. How can i interface this 12 parallel pins  to stellaris as they have 8 bit ports and do not have 16 or 32 bit port as LPC2194.

    Thank you

    Pramod

ADS5231EVM: Interface the EVM with Linux board

    Part Number: ADS5231EVM

    Hi,

I have a Linux board with me now.  I wish to make an application to acquire 60MHz analog data and use FFT to analyze it.

I look at the ADS5231EVM.  Can I interface its digital output pins to my Linux GPIOs and write a C program to read out and store the data?  If yes, do you have the sample of how it can be done?  Or I just put it in a loop at read out each of the 12-bit GPIOs and shift till it forms a 12-bit number?  Will that be fast enough?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Regards,

    Nelson

    RE: ADS5232EV Power Connections

    Hi,

I just tested a ADS5231 EVM here and it powered up fine. I can send this EVM to  you for you to test out if you wish. If the EVM works fine, then please send back two other EVMs so we can replace them. If not, please double check your setup for potential shorts.

    3.3V AVDD = 74mA

    3.3V VDDOBUFFER = 25mA

both analog input are disconnected from test equipment.

    CLK = 40MSPS CMOS

output buffer disconnected from test equipment.

I will PM you offline for address + tel #.

RE: HOW TO USE THE XINTF OF 28335 FOR EXTERNAL parallel AD

    Hi ,

Thank you very much for that link.I am presently working with TMS320F28335 just a few days. This file helped a little bit. The main goal is to connect the ezdsp and the ti ADC12040  or ADS5231 via XINTF.I will use the parallel 12 bit ADC chip  for about 20MHz,but i have no idea how to solve the problem how to write the time series code of the AD's pin PD,OE and CLK. The clk use a clock with low jitter and fast rise and fall times (<2ns).I don't know whether the 28335 can fit it.And can i set the PD and OE to GND(low level).

    Regards

    Interfacing ADS8422 with TMS320C6474

    Hey there,

What would the best way to interface 12 x ADS8422 with one TMS320c6474?

Would I need an FPGA to do this or can I connect these ADCs directly to the DSP?

    thanks,

    EV
