  • AFE5807EVM/TSW1250 output incorrect

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE5807EVM We are in the process of evaluating the AFE5807EVM, and are having issues getting either it or the TSW1250EVM to work correctly (not sure which is having the issue). When I set the AFE5807EVM GUI to output…

Hi Muhammad, The signal chain would be TX517 -> xdcr -> TX810-> AFE5807->TSW1250. I suggest trying to get data with AFE5807+TSW1250 first. Next, connect the TX517 output to an oscilloscope (THROUGH AN ATTENUATOR). DO NOT PLUG the TX517 directly…

Guy, There is no limitation on the clock to 40MHz. This is just a recommended value which matches the on-board oscillator but 80MHz is fine for the AFE5807. As far as the FMC-ADC Adapter, there are no limitations to this setup. The mapping of channels…

I need more information. I assume that you have AFE5807 on the AFE5807EVM. Are you using TSW1250 EVM to work with AFE5807E EVM? If the answer is yes then please make sure the bit# option with TSW1250 matches AFE5807 device. The AFE5807 default to 12…

Archie, The flat line exists in both plots. You do not see it in the TI plot as the view is not zoomed in. This line is due to the default setting in the GUI to notch out 25 bins on both sides of the fundamental. See attached document for how to adjust…

Daniel, TI no longer supports the TSW14J56EVM as it is now obsolete. The firmware developed for this platform was done by a third party, which no longer supports TI. The board has a JTAG connector that will allow you to download your own custom firmware…
