Hi Alberto,
This was developed with the datasheet pinouts, not an actual layout file.
I would recommend referencing the BOOSTXL-DRV8320H and DRV8350H-EVM for example layouts.
Thanks,
Matt
Hello Iain Milnes ,
Apologizes for the confusion, the text should have said: MSP-EXP430F5529LP or MSP-EXP430FR2355 as each of the EVMs (e BOOSTXL-DRV8304H, BOOSTXLDRV8320S, BOOSTXL-DRV8320H, BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS, and BOOSTXL-DRV8323RH) are paired with only…
Hello Adam
I made a query to Texas Instruments to know which equipment was the right one (I attached the post), in which it said that I needed the control to be able to brake the engine in case of external acceleration, they replied that although,…

Hi team,
My concern is about a glitch that I can observe on the output of INA180A1IDBVR in my resent low side sensing design. The glitch can be seen in the attached…
Hi,
In TIDA-00472, we didn't implemented a dual direction code. Please refer to https://www.ti.com/tool/BOOSTXL-DRV8320H . Here is a full function s/w for trapzoidal control.
You mentioned the target project is for washing machine. Could you show your…

We are looking to change to BLDC motors in some of our products (which currently use brushed DC). I'm…
Part Number: DRV8320 I use the DRV8320H to drive a B6 bridge for steering a sensorless BLDC motor. During operation esp. at higher output currents the driver stops sometimes operation due to latched nFault. This occurs sometimes very short time after…
Hi Juan Pablo,
May I suggest you consider the DRV8320H instead of the DRV8301?
The www.ti.com/.../BOOSTXL-DRV8320H boosterpack connects to the MSP-EXP430F5529LP LaunchPad.
The DRV8320 comes in 4 variants (SPI or Hardware interface, and with or without…
Hi James,
Is this a new board or the BOOSTXL-DRV8320H?
Which GH and GL signal have you captured?
What does the SH pin look?
Did you try operating the device with no load to confirm the outputs are correct?

Hi Thomas,
Please look at the DRV832x series of devices. With a mcu and FETs, these devices can control a sensorless BLDC.
The BOOSTXL-DRV8320H is available for evaluation.
