Part Number: BUF18830 Hi,
The customer is using this chip, but how is the code of vcom voltage calculated, the formula written is not quite clear, please help to explain.
Thank you ~
Part Number: BUF18830 Hi,
The customer has the following problems.
Abnormal phenomenon: VDDA=13.5V, VSD=3.3V, the VDDA will eat 300mA of current when powered on, and 18830 will burn seriously.
Debug: disconnects all VGAMMA OUT/VCOM OUT, adjusts the power…

Part Number: BUF18830 Hi team,
My customer already finished BUF18830 circuit design and their system bord will be back soon.
Now they need to pre-program BUF18830 internal gamma value but there is no tool can do.
I checked there is BUF18830 EVM board in…
Part Number: BUF18830 Hi Team,
My customer would like to draw BUF18830 schematic and they plan to reference BUF18830 EVM board circuit. But it is not clear enough to reference.
So could you share the link how to download clear schematic for customer? …
Hello Robin,
Did you find some more time to work on this issue? Could you find out if the mura is dependent on the BUF18830 output voltage?
Code means the portion of AVDD that shall be shown on the output of the gamma buffer. It is normal that the output…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BUF18830 Hi Team,
Please allow me to ask you if BUF18830 Vcom output amplitude could be set to as low as 0.5V. I believe it can not, however, could you please give us your comment ?
Best Regards, Kawai
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BUF18830 Hi,
I have a question about BUF18830.
Regarding Figure 19 of a datasheet 17 page, What is the use purpose of VCOM-Feedback pin?
Is it to adjust the voltage of VCOM-OUT from external(LCD Panel)?
When LCD Panel doesn…
Hi, Sir:
The datasheet description (p.11) gamma buffers output voltage as following equation:
OUTx=Vs*(CODE/1024)
The "CODE" range(10 bits) are 0 ~ 1023 or 1~1024 ?!
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BUF18830 For the BUF18830, other than turning on the digital supply voltage prior to the analog supply voltage, are there any other power sequencing requirements for the BUF18830?
I need to power sequence the LCD gamma…
