  • CDCVF857: Looking for lifecycle of CDCVF857DGG

    Part Number: CDCVF857 The CDCV857BIDGG is going EOL in Dec 2019 and I want to use CDCVF857DGG as the replacement on existing designs. I'm looking to find out the lifecycle of CDCVF857DGG to ensure that it doesn't go EOL soon as well. Thanks.

    Hi Zain, According to the PCN: "Original fab site is no longer in operation, and the die bank inventory is being depleted." Unfortunately there is no direct replacement for this device, CDCVF857 is a good alternative. Kind regards, Lane

    Hi Kato-San, CDCVF857 model can be used in place of CDCVF855. There is an insignificant difference in the package RLC parameters (28-pin vs. 48-pin TSSOP). The FBOUT model is the same as the Yx outputs. Regards Arvind Sridhar

    Hello cafain, we recommend to use CDCVF855 or CDCVF857 for new designs. These parts are compliant with the JESD82 standard which includes only static phase offset definition. You can find the the static phase offset waveform in figure 5. Best regards…
