Because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., TI E2E™ design support forum responses may be delayed from November 25 through December 2. Thank you for your patience.
Hi Dennis,
Both the DAC8830 (DAC8831) and DAC8812 (DAC8822) have models in our TINA-TI spice tool. I recommend using those as a starting point for simulation. It might be possible to export the model into your tool of choice as well.
Thanks,
Paul
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS8363 , DAC8831 Hi,
I'm developing a system based on C6418 at 600Mhz.
The system processes 4 RX channels at 187500 16-bit samples per second each coming from one ADS8363 on McBsp0 driven at 15MHz clock (CPU clock …
Hi Archie,
I found this older e2e ( link ) that shares some more info about the resistor noise in the DAC8831. The thermal resistor noise is not frequency dependent which is why the DAC8831 does not have a plot similar to the one in the DAC1220 datasheet…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8831 Hi,
I am building a board that include 8 DAC8831 and 16 ADCs interfaced to an FPGA. I am having an issue with the DACs grounding . If i split the ground plane, i will for sure have many traces that will be crossing…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8831 , DRV135 , OPA727 , OPA2354 Hi
i need the following information. Please let me know.
1) Power dissipation of OPA2354, DAC8831, OPA727, DRV135 IC’s.
2) Current requirement from +5V and -5V for OPA2354, DAC8831…
Part Number: TLV5619 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VCA2617 , DAC8831 Hello,
Is the TINA TI Spice model available for this DAC?
We wanted to use this DAC(TLV5619) along with the VGA(VCA2617) in our design. The SPICE model is available for the latter…
Part Number: DAC8831EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8871EVM , , DAC8831 , DAC8871 , DAC11001A Hello Team,
It is possible to control the output of the DAC8831EVM, DAC8871EVM and DAC11001A-EVM per normal SPI code from a Arduino library? I mean: Can I…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8831 Hi,
I'm looking for programmable current source for my project. I want to produce ac current source (1mA-200mA) with frequency range from 1kHz to 500kHz. Any suggestions of related device which I can start with…
