Because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., TI E2E™ design support forum responses may be delayed from November 25 through December 2. Thank you for your patience.
Hi,
Sorry, I got confused between K15 and K16 pin . Datasheet description is correct .
This AFE uses 2 VCA dies internally . 16 channel is from each VCA die . SENo controls all the odd channel in the AFE . So if you make K15 NC you cannot control the register…
Hello wesley clow
Thank you.
Please refer below inputs i received from the expert:
AM437x seems to be a 0.65mm pitch VCA design. So 5mil width/5mil space should be ok with a 10 mil BGA land pad to escape from the outer row.
No exotic vias or via-in-pad…
Part Number: TIDA-010042 Tool/software: Hi,
I want to know how TI choosen the DEM mode current in TIDA-010042 Mosfet based reference design. According to theory we should go to DEM Mode when the output current goes below or equal to critical current …
Hi,
Those graphs are for different devices in this family. So, use the graph from the device that you will use.
I recommend the newer VCA package, as it is smaller and has better efficiency.

Hi Richard,
I see, so if the device is used in FPWM mode and the average output current decreases below the ripple current divided by 2, then I suppose we are entering a zone where inductor current becomes negative in CCM, and so, you will have a loss…
Hi Diego,
For VOD0, you are correct in that the output voltage varies from approximately 400 to 1000 mVp-p. The range is approximate, so the minimum may be slightly above 400 and the maximum is usually above 1000. From what I simulated, the difference…
Hi,
LM5025 integrated driver with driving peak current 2A so it looks ok for 200W driving: But UCC28C43 or C53 driving with peak 1A so you need to add external driver to get 2A for 200W.
Hi Sebastien,
I know it's been a while, we did not forget about this! I've been working for the past few weeks to try to get this system working. I think I have audio coming through now, but I have been having trouble getting our digital audio test equipment…
Hi Paul,
1. Correct, they are p2p compatible apart from input voltage rating.
2. Better to just use one good FET instead of two paralleled FETs, as it keeps the switching loop area to a minimum. See app note SNVA803 for more detail here. If paralleled…
