Hello Niklas,
thanks for your feedback. First I will answer your question:
- Is the device set to DEM or FPWM mode? -> FPWM (MODE via 10k pulled to VCC) - The LM5122 HO signal is measured with reference to GND, so it mostly shows the SW, correct? -…
Part Number: LM25183-LM25184DESIGN-CALC Tool/software: Can the max rate of current that is drawn from the input (supply) be set to a maximum of 1A?
If so, then how?
My system requires that this charging circuit not draw more than 1A.
Hi Jarrod,
That's a good point. I checked in design. In VCA die, SDOUT buffer is working on 3.3V supply. So when SDOUT is driven by VCA die, it will be 3.3V and when driven by ADC die, it will 1.8V. But since the SDOUT of two dies are shorted and the…
Hi Udesh,
Udesh Singla said: HI Steven
Yes the typical current requirement is around 540mA only but maximum it will go till 700-800mA. So that's why we have set as 1A
Sorry. I forgot you had told me that the maximum output current would be 700-800mA…
Sarah, Thank you for your additional explanations. Q1: So, TI can say that the <1A current limit could occur at only startup and never during normal operation? Q2: Please take a look at the attached powerpoint file, which their understandings about the current…
Hi Reddy,
The waveforms will help me identifying the issue.
The internal switch has a current limit of 3.26A min. So with Vin less than 18V and Vout=1A you might trigger the current limit already.
Best regards
Moritz
Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8301 Tool/software: Hi all,
I'm attempting to interface with a BOOSTXL-DRV8301 over SPI using an FPGA. I am able to drive a motor, but I am receiving temperature warnings and cannot read the registers otherwise, so I am hoping…
for 1: Vbb is needed even if for AC coupled, so R49 is still needed , ( looks I replied wrong last time.)
for 2: you can DNI R13/R14, R21, R22, R23, R24, R25, R26, R27 and R28.
Also remove external bias.
There are two 50ohm inside 1A/1B and biased by…
Part Number: BQ25622E Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25622
Tool/software:
I am using the BQ25622E for an application with 12V input (nominal), single Li-ion output so 3.5V-4.2V output , and 1A charge current approx.
I have come to choose the buck…
