Part Number: DP83822I Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-EXP430G2ET , Hello,
I have a board with a DP83822I phy on it which I need to set up to connect through ethernet. I configured an ethernet address and IP address but am unable to connect to it from…
Hi Chaesok,
The probe shot of the Link Pulse you sent looks good! I wouldn't be concerned with that.
Back to the register read issue, when I reviewed your schematic I mentioned the MDIO pin requires a 2.2 kΩ PU resistor. Has this been added to your…
Part Number: DP83822I Hi Team,
Please tell me the procedure for using each loopback function. Can the user get started by simply doing the following? If no, please tell me correct procedure.
MII Loopback: Set register address 0x0000[14]=1b
Near-end Loopback…
Part Number: DP83822I Hello, I think the PHY Identifier value is the same for both DP83822IF and DP83822I. Is there any way to distinguish which part number, IF or I, is connected to the CPU through MDIO or any other way?
Regards, Oba
Part Number: DP83822I I want to perform a compliance test in the 100BASE-TX mode. According to the datasheet,
I can access the register 0x0027 and read it. But the PHY does not generate a special waveform.
I do not know whether this register is the right…
Part Number: DP83826E Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83822I Hi Team,
I do have similar questions and need experts comment.
Customer is surveying a solution to replace BROADCOM_BCM5241A1IMLG.
I search some E2E and these thread told me if no need to support…

Hi Team,
In "Figure 9-2. TPI Network Circuit" of the data sheet, the termination voltage of the differential signal is "3.3-V Supply".
Is this OK with "AVD Supply" (1.8V or 3.3V)?
Best Regards,
Hi Atsushi,
Sorry for the confusion. Shorting TD and RD will trigger a link drop because of signal quality, signal energy, RX_ER, and etc...

Part Number: DP83822I hi,
Just double check with that when VDDIO=3.3V, the High input voltage for signals on both MDC and MDIO is 1.7v, and Low input voltage for them is 0.8V, is it right?
