On the datasheet of DP83848M, Connecting to PIN 19 (PFBOUT), PIN16 (PFBIN1) and PIN30 (PFBIN2) is recommended. On the other hand, on the figure 19 of EN55011, these pins are not shorted.
Which one is correct?

2. read the actual status of the MDIO register on the PHY to understand what mode the PHY is in. The ethtool report may not be correct…
