Hello Haiwen,
The die is the same for the DRV401-q1 and the DRV401. The build and testing will be different. The Die is what has the ESD protection circuit.
Hi Javier,
1. According to TI Design( ), OPA237 is recommended and it uses both of positive & negative voltage. But customer wants to use only positive voltage.
Could you recommend other TI Design which uses only Positive voltage?
2. Is Demagnetization…
Part Number: DRV401-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV401 , DRV421 , DRV411 , DRV421EVM , TPS7A19 , TL720M05-Q1 Hello,
According to DRV401-Q1 overview material, it is designed for VAC sensor.
Does it mean that DRV401-Q1 can only be used with VAC sensor…
Part Number: DRV401-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV401 , DRV421 i had developed a current sensor A-sample with DRV401, and after the function test ,i found some questions below:
1.the current test range was too small ,it 's about ±150A. but the…
Part Number: DRV401-Q1 Please see the figure below, what's the function of the R3 R4 C3 C4, i guess it is used to reduce the synchronous ripple of PWM and PWM signals . and how to choose the value?
Thanks very much!
Hello A_M,
See my replies below.
Akio Murita said: Q1: why the table and the figure show different voltage? which one do I need to refer to?
The figure is a typical device tested over temperature. This will not show the distribution. The 250mA in the table…
Part Number: DRV401-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV401 , DRV421 Hi! all!
i want to develop a current sensor sample (which was used in motor control system, have high precision ) with DRV401 , so a proper magnetic circuit should be chosen .
please…
Part Number: DRV401-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV421 , DRV401 Hi! javier!
the problems in DRV421 were resolved ,but it was not automotive.so i focus on 401-Q1.
according to datasheet, the probe core reaches saturation at a current of 28mA. i …
Hello Fiona,
This will be dependent on the determination of when the core is saturated. As the DRV401 excites the flux gate probe the DRV401 determines when the probe is saturated before it changes the drive to the other direction. The total impedance…
Hello Holger,
The decision for no EVM I cannot comment on. I would suggest the customer build their own PCB like the DRV421 but keep in mind that the package is different. DRV401 is 5mm x 5mm and the DRV421 is 4mm x 4mm. I would look at the DRV421EVM…
