Part Number: DRV421EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV421 , DRV425 Hello, I'm trying to test the idea of measuring a very small current signal through a toroid of some sort. I do not want to use a shunt. The current would be on the order of 5 to…

Sam, Normally we do not have EVM with a large scale design and we normally only highlight a specific device that would be evaluated. This is also dependent on where you are measuring the current. if you are measuring on the low side you will always…

  • RE: DRV401: what evm to use?

Hello Holger, The decision for no EVM I cannot comment on. I would suggest the customer build their own PCB like the DRV421 but keep in mind that the package is different. DRV401 is 5mm x 5mm and the DRV421 is 4mm x 4mm. I would look at the DRV421EVM…
