Hi Mitch,
i don't understand how to configure MAX curren to be lower than 10A , in the table i have configure it for max 4mv.
the reading voltage above the SHUNT resistor is correct 2.75mv
the current that i should have with a load of 1.2kohm is 2…
Part Number: INA228
Hello
I have a setup utilizing the EVM of INA228.We soldered a 25 mOhm Rshunt and connected an electronic load to the load part, with a VBUS of 5V.
We are encountering two issues that we are struggling to understand.
Firstly, when…
Hi Maayan,
You have two options. Either connect an external shunt resistor, and the load will flow through the shunt resistor and feed the differential input to the EVM:
Or you could solder a resistor on the board where R1 is located and plug in the…
Part Number: INA228 Hello!
The doc for the INA228EVM (shou241e.pdf) in section 4.2.3 says " Connect a shunt resister by doing either of the following: a. Solder a 2512 resistor across the pads of R1 that connects the IN+ and IN– inputs b. Connect an…
Hi Daniel,
It seems like there may be an error code. Can you send a video of the LEDs flashing for me to confirm? Ideally the video would show the pattern repeating at least 5 times.
Best,
Mohamed
Hey Alexander,
Good point, that could very well be the issue. The collect function returns the raw register value, so you would want to right shift the data by 4 to remove bits 0-3 before applying the conversion factor.

Mitch
Ok, thanks for the update!
We are currently working on an update that will make the firmware update process smoother. Unfortunately this is not live on the web yet...
