  • RE: ISO1176T for RS485/Modbus? (circuit correct?)

Ersan, For R401 & R403 = 1kohm, you have a failsafe voltage of +30mV. Given V IT(+) of -10mV for the ISO1176T, this gives you 40mV peak-to-peak of noise margin. Whether this is acceptable will depend on the noise you expect to encounter in your operating…

Hi Andreas, Internal schematic ISO1176T and SN6501 is almost the same thus you could use them both without LDO if you have stable input voltage. In other case be aware that bus side supply voltage for ISO1176T is in the range 4.75-5.25V (5V+-5%).…

The ADM2865E is an isolated RS-485 transceiver. What exactly do you mean with "UART"? As far as I can see, TI does not have an isolated transceiver with integrated power supply; the nearest would be the ISO1176T with a transformer driver.

Hi, David, I have found the problem, I got wrong about the DE signal of ISO1176T. However, I still have some questions: 1. Is ProfiBUS half duplex? 2. IDK5728 used GPIO4-6 to control the DE signal of ISO1176T. And I used GPIO3-25 to control the DE…
