The TL391LV/TL331LV/LM393LV/LM339LV comparators all use the same architecture. But they are different from other devices without the LV suffix.
The LM393LV has a model.
Part Number: LMV393 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM393LV , LM339LV Hello,
I just found out that the LMV393IDDUR is at end of time / last time buy. Now I try to find a direct replacement, but it seems that the package is really a problem.
It seems that…
Applying a voltage at the inputs while the power supply is off violates the absolute maximum ratings. (A current will flow through the input ESD protection diodes into V+.)
The purpose of the shutdown function is to allow the opamp to stay connected to…
For the device to work correctly, you indeed need to respect the recommended operating conditions. Please note the input voltage range; with a 8.3 V supply, you cannot handle input voltages above 6.3 V.
This application needs a comparator that can handle…
Hi Clemens,
Thanks for your professional comment, so you mean, LM393DR also don't good for this design requirement, we need to use the rail-to-rail comparator like LM393LV and so on? thanks.
What is VREF?
The valid input voltage range is from 0 V to 3 V. For higher input voltages, the output is undefined. If this is your problem, use a comparator with rail-to-rail inputs like the LM393LV.
HI Gary,
Hmmm...Can we see scope photos of a working circuit?
Have you tried the LM393LV? It's Rail to Rail inputs eliminate the reversal issue.
Due to the PCN's, you will eventually get a "B" device...so you really want to keep the circuit from being…
About 8× is OK for digital signals.
The termination resistor should match the characteristic impedance of the cable. CAT6 usually has 100 Ω.
A differential transmitter outputs two signals that are inverted from each other. This can be done…
