  • RE: TLV7041: Recommend any solution as TLV7041 but input voltage can be more than 7V?

    Jonathan Nguyen
    Jonathan Nguyen
Anne, The LMC7215 has Vcc Max = 8V. The Iq for this device is twice as much (0.7uA), however has much faster prop. delay of 0.4us. The TLV7041 will not work with the input pins @6.5V, the common mode input voltage range is from VEE - VCC +0.1V.…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMC7215 I have build a test bench for the LMC7215 comparator (se attached) but the output of the 2nd comparator does not show the expected waveform, but is rather stuck. What is wrong?

  • RE: Output sink current of LM339-N

Hello Nitish, 47Meg is way too large. 10Meg would be as high as I would go. But the supply current will still dominate. We have many micro and nanopower comparators. The lowest supply current comparator is the TLV3691 at 150nA, and many in the…

HI Zachary, The common mode limit is an absolute for each pin, not the average of the two pins. The formula is correct, but not applicable... Comparators can have differential voltages of several volts, so one input does not get a "free-pass" because…
