Hi Leonid, yes, the LME49600 behaves that way when its output is clipping. This cannot be prevented. Just keep the input amplitude low enough so that the output of LME49600 cannot clip. Kai

NAGA AMAM, For multiple feedback topology the 2nd order formula is shown below. For 2nd order Sallen-Key it is shown below. To design a 6th order filter, it is not an common practice to derive a 6 order transfer function by cascading 2nd…

I still could not solve the problem but I am now convinced that something is definitely fishy with the LME49600 model. I did some more tests and it looks like the LME has an integrated current source or something that produces strange voltages. Look…

Hi, David, I apologize, but we don't have more information beyond what is published on the web about this device. We have a spice model for the LME49600, I suggest that you evaluate your proposed circuit using a spice simulation. -d2

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49600 Can you provide an expression for the gain of the headphone buffer circuit of the LME49600 evaluation board and data sheet? The non-inverting stage alone should provide a gain of 2 (Gain = 1+ R2/R1) but I measure…
