Hi Leonid,
yes, the LME49600 behaves that way when its output is clipping. This cannot be prevented. Just keep the input amplitude low enough so that the output of LME49600 cannot clip.

NAGA AMAM,
For multiple feedback topology the 2nd order formula is shown below.
For 2nd order Sallen-Key it is shown below.
To design a 6th order filter, it is not an common practice to derive a 6 order transfer function by cascading 2nd…
I still could not solve the problem but I am now convinced that something is definitely fishy with the LME49600 model. I did some more tests and it looks like the LME has an integrated current source or something that produces strange voltages.
Look…
Hi, David,
I apologize, but we don't have more information beyond what is published on the web about this device.
We have a spice model for the LME49600, I suggest that you evaluate your proposed circuit using a spice simulation.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49600 Hi, firstly sorry for grammer.
I have a DAC for 2.25vpp output and audiotechnicha ad700 32ohm headphone, I dont need voltage amplifier stage. So I think I can use lme49600 without voltage amplifier stage, only…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49600 , TPA6133A2 I'm designing a high quality headphone amplifier that should be powered off 12v batteries. The LME49600 was recommended to me, but I don't know if I can use it with a single supply. If I can, can you…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49600 , LME49720 Hello,
I am designing an output stage for a headphone amplifier, using an LME49600 inside the feedback loop of an LME49720 configured for unity gain. I would like to know if/what extra precautions…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49600 Can you provide an expression for the gain of the headphone buffer circuit of the LME49600 evaluation board and data sheet? The non-inverting stage alone should provide a gain of 2 (Gain = 1+ R2/R1) but I measure…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49600TSBD , TINA-TI Hello again,
I've recently built a stripped down version of the LME49600TSBD headphone amp in TINA-TI to simulate it. All measurements analysed well except for Square Wave. I placed a 10mA, 10kHz…
Part Number: BUF634 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49600 , , Tool/software: Can I replace #BUF634F/500E3 with #LME49600TS/NOPB as both have same slew rate (2000V/μs),supply voltage range (±2.25 to ±18) and output current (±250 mA)?
