Hi expert,
My customer wants to migrate the configuration and settings from LMK04828 to LMK04832, it seems they are pin-to-pin compatible.
Below is their setting of version…
Hi Indujha,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We do not have a pin-by-pin breakdown of the current consumption, but I can point you towards a few tools that may help you calculate the current consumed by your configuration. Table 87 in the datasheet…
Part Number: LMK04828 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04832 , LMX2572 Tool/software: Hi TI team.
I'm considering using LMK04828 in Single-Loop Mode.
I'm using PLLATINUMSIM to evaluate the loop filter, and I have two questions:
1. How can…
Part Number: LMK04828 Tool/software: Hi,
We are Having two RFSoC boards with LMK04828B in each one of them to generate the required clocks for the ADC/DACs.
We are looking to synchronize the two LMK chips using a single reference clock of 5 MHz on to…
Part Number: LMK04828 Tool/software: Hi,
Please share LMK04828 default clock frequencies at all ports and their power level with out any configuration from FPGA!!
Thanks In Advance
Alberto,
Thank you for your patience. I think I have found the root cause of your issue.
It seems that the LMK04828 is only capable of doing dynamic digital delay steps in one direction before doing a SYNC event to change directions. As stated in the…
Part Number: LMK04828 Tool/software: Hi experts,
I still have some questions about synchronizing multiple LMK devices. When I tested the 500MHz output from the LMKs on two clock boards, I noticed some jitter between on them, which also affected the LMX…
Part Number: LMK04828 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04832 Tool/software: Hello,
Question 1: What parameters do the Kvco and VCOCap in the picture represent when the customer uses the LMK04828 clock chip?
Question 2: The customer saw that the loop…
Tion,
I see. Then the original plan of using automatic switching would work better. The only limitation is that when both clocks are active you have no way of forcing it to CLKIN0 without writing to the registers.
