Part Number: LMK05318B
Dear Team,
I suggested the LMK05318B can achieve 6 sets of different frequency outputs through Programmable Drivers to customer. we have some questions as below, could you help to support these questions?
1. Is there a single-group…
Part Number: LMK05318B-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK05318BEVM Hi Friend,
In the process of use, it was found that the 4PIN of IC was short circuit after measurement, and the resistance value was about 1ohm. May I ask what causes this situation…
Part Number: LMK05318B-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK05318B Hi Expert,
My customer is tend to use LMK05318B-Q1 in their application.
Customer want to output 180.48Mhz and 24.576Mhz at the same time. From my present of view,If the PLL2 use Xo…
Part Number: LMK05318B Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK5B33216 Hello TI team,
I am trying to evaluate LMK05318B for one our designs and following is the requirement:
IN: 40MHz XTAL, 40MHz recovered clock
OUT: 156.25MHz(HCSL), 122.88MHz(LVCMOS), 40MHz…
Hi Ian,
As mentioned, this bit is not meant to be manually configured. Instead, you should rely on the recommended setting by TICSPRO. When you run through the LMK05318B wizard and enter the reference frequency in the boxed region from the picture, the…
Part Number: LMK05318B Recently we have seen some LMK05318B devices coming up on the programming software with an incorrect default I2C address in R10.
Is this a known problem with these devices, or is there a risk of address overwriting or corruption…
Hi Andrea,
For DPLL frequency lock, you might want to increase lock detect threshold. This can be done through GUI page, increasing Lock ppm and Unlock ppm to higher numbers then once it locks, you can decrease to smaller thresholds.
Or you can change…
Part Number: LMK05318B hi,
I'm trying to map the "script registers" (step 5: set DPLL, Display written registers (for debugging)) to registers detailed in the "register map user guide".
The DPLL script shows only the names and values…

We are using an LMK05318B as a clock generator chip in freerun mode on a custom design.
We are using a highly accurate 40 MHz SiTime oscillator as the XO reference (frequency validated by a spectrum analyzer).
Our basic configuration…
