  • Supply voltages on LMP92064

I am studying the use of MLP92064 in my Design. I need to know if I can use differents voltages on the pins: VDD and VDIG. All examples I've seen use the same voltage on these pins. I must use 5V on VDD and 3V3 on VDIG. Is it possible?

  • RE: Problem: communication between LMP92064 and Raspberry Pi

Hi Micha, The LMP92064 has a 4-wire SPI interface: CSB (active-low chip-select), SDI (data input), SDO (data output) and SCLK (SPI clock input). If the Raspberry Pi has a similar SPI port on-board that you can use, then the communication should be…

Using a 0.5 ohm sense resistor the voltage difference between INCP and INCN increased to 0.045mV. The output gives me all 0's in this case, even for the chip ID which was working earlier. I feel that the chip is not powered up somehow, which gives me…

  • RE: LMP92064 negative differential voltage on current sense

    Sergio
    Sergio
Hello Xavier, The LMP92064 is unidirectional and cannot sense negative differential voltages across its pins... the digital output will clip to zero. There is no problem with the proposed common-mode range... -60 mV is well within its -200 mV lower…

Hi Vignesh, None of our current shunt monitors are able to monitor currents in the microamps range. The LMP92064 won't be a good fit for your application. For small currents like this I would recommend you get in contact with the precision amplifier…

Hello Henry, The INA233 has an input input bias current of 8µA which would cause it not to work for these low currents. If you are sensing the low side current you could use the LMP92064 but the input VCM is limited from -0.2V to 2V. If you do not…
