Part Number: MC79L @ Andres Sagredo
A while ago, I asked about the thermal impedance of MC79L12 on this forum.
I got the answer, but is it the impedance of "D package - SOIC"? (I forgot to mention the package.)
Part Number: MC79L Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A30 , Hi experts,
My customer want to use our MC79L12 in their power three. But MC79L12ACDR only support 0 to 125 °C, do we have wide range MC79L12 which could support -40 to 125°C? Thanks.

Part Number: MC79L Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM79L , Hi team
Is it OK to use a 0.1uF, low ESR capacitor like ceramic as the output cap?
Then could you also tell the difference of MC79L & LM79L? Not sure which devices customer should use.

Hi Adrian,
You can use our MC79L05ACDR as a P2P replacement. This was designed to be an enhanced temperature version of the LM79L. You can find more info of the performance changes on the datasheet charts for MC79L. Let us know if this helps.
