Part Number: OPA1677 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI The data sheet for the OPA1677 shows a schematic (see Fig 8-1) for a Phantom powered preamp designed for a piezo transducer mic. It states that a TINA-TI simulation of the circuit is available…
Part Number: INA1650 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA1677 , OPA1688 In the datasheet of OPA1677, there's an example circuit (copied below) that illustrates the use of said op-amp to force the output voltage of a INA1650 stage to 0v. However, the…
Hello Kazuya-san,
The best options to replace the NJM5534D are either the NE5534 or the modern OPA1677. We don't have an equivalent modern device that pins out compensation or balance features.

Hi Raymond,
Thank for your feedback.
I reduced the capacity from 1nf to 0.1nf without seeing any positive result in vibration.
I can test my system without the IR detectors (by short-circuiting them) and the result is the same: my amplification chain…
Part Number: OPA1678 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MC33078 , OPA1656 , OPA1677
There is a confusing about the temp range in the d/s as below plot. which one is correct?
Since MC33078MDREP is last buy/EOL device, TI website recommends to use OPA1678…
John,
An update on the composite amp. design: I cannot find a good combination of amplifiers (OPA192 + a fast, low-Iq amplifier) that give much of a settling time benefit with a lower Iq than OPA828; I did manage to get a lower settling time with 3 mA…
Hey Mochi,
Yes, the 2ch NE5532A is being updated to the 300mm wafer like the PCN doc mentions but the 1ch NE5534AD/ADR/AP is going to EOL on the Last date to order mentioned in the PDN doc. And yes, the recommended replacements are the OPA1677 and OPA134…
Choosing the right audio op amp in different contexts:
Parts discussed in this thread: OPA167x , OPAx134 , OPA165x , OPA1622 , OPA160x , OPA1692 , OPA1611 , OPA1632 ,
With so many different audio op amps available from TI, it can be difficult to determine which one…
