Part Number: OPA177 My customer was reviewing the OPA177GS/2K5 op amp data sheet for output voltage swing information and found some graphical information that doesn’t seem to correlate with the other data from the same publication:
Our load on this…
Part Number: INA101 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA177 , Hello,
I'm using two INA101HP (DIP package) stages in series.
The signal from a sensor (~100Ohms) as input for the Amplifier is 0-500uV AC with a DC-offset in the range of 0-120mV. The input…
Hey Marvin,
I'm assuming this is being sensed with an ADC. This introduces a couple limits. First, general purpose amplifiers don't typically go above 40V max supply, so you will at least have to divide the sensor output by more than half to keep it in…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA177 , OPA27 , OPA277 Iam using Op-amp opa177 for the samll signal amplification purpose. In op-amp opa177 pin no.1 & 8 are used for offset trim. but if I do not want to trim the offset So where should I connect these pin…
The OPA177 datasheet says:
Burr-Brown’s standard ESD test method consists of five 1000V positive and negative discharges (100pF in series with 1.5kΩ) applied to each pin.
This corresponds to the HBM test conditions.
Hi Manoj,
this might interest you:
Take the TI's OPA177 for this circuit or better.
You should decide whether you take a thin film or silicon based sensor. They greatly differ in their temperature coefficients.

Part Number: OPA2277 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA177 Dears,
My customer use OPA2277 to detect AC input voltage as below circuit. The input signal is AC(50Hz) 0.2V pk voltage. But customer found big output voltage spike when input signal zero cross…
We designed this circuit to build a PGA circuit. The block diagram is as follows.
The default state switch (RF Switch) of the board design is not connected to the previous stage. It is equivalent to the following figure. All tests are tested in the default…
Part Number: PGA204 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1278 , THS4031 , PGA281 , OPA177 , THS4521 Hello,
Could i connect directly Vo1 and Vo2 outputs of the PGA204 into one of the differential inputs of ADS1278/4 ?
Thanks in advance.
Francis.
Hello user4864313,
The input offset voltage of any op amp will be amplified by the gain used in the circuit. Since the offset voltage is seldom 0 V, but some real amount possibly as high as the maximum value, the output will not be 0 V with zero weight…
