RE: TLV1701: rail to rail input comparators with total power supply range between 30-36V

Hi Paul, Thanks for pointing out that OPA4170 is an op-amp and not a comparator. I will look at the suggested parts. In my application, the common mode voltage hits the positive rail. Regards, Nitish

    OPA4170 fails

Hi, We are using a OPA 4170 opamp at the output of a DAC for amplifying and level shifting the DAC output. However, it is found that the 4170 fails frequently. The ouptut pins of the 4170 have been brought out on to headers for probing. These are not...

RE: OPA4170 : Full rail to rail input swing

Jebas, The OPA4170 input common-mode voltage range is specified from (V-)-0.1V to (V+)-2V but it is operating from (V-)-0.1V to (V+)+0.1V; to understand the difference between specified and operating range, please click on the link below: http://e2e...

    RE: OPA4188: Output distortion

Alex, Thanks for your reply. I was suspecting it had something to do with the OPA188's output stage and the high resistances. However, due to the characteristics of the sensor this circuit interfaces with, this high input resistance is required...

RE: OPA170: small package and high voltage output

Toshiyuki-san, OPA4170 is a quad version of OPA170. There is also OPA2170 dual version.

    RE: SN74LVC1G99 input transition

OK, that's what I thought. The logic gate is to drive a level-sensitive (not edge sensitive) logic chip (CD4516B CARRY IN input). If the output goes indeterminate or toggles states quickly for a few microseconds, I don't care. I want to use an...

    OPA2170

    • Resolved
I'm observing that the OPA2170 has Input Differential Over-Voltage Protection Diodes. I do not see these mentioned in the datasheet anywhere. Can someone confirm this? I need an amp like this one (low noise, low power, wide supply range) that does not have these diodes. Thanks.

    OPAX170

    • Resolved
Is there a plot of current noise density for the OPAX170? What is the input architecture (CMOS or Bipolar)? Thanks.
