Part Number: PGA281EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA281 Tool/software: Hello everyone
I have a TI PGA281 EVM measurement amplifier. While measuring on my test bench, an overvoltage on pins IN+ and IN- occurred and the amplifier stopped working…
Part Number: PGA281EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA281 We have a Texas Instruments PGA281EVM module. During each measurement the LED (error) lights up. Everything is powered by +/- 15V (J5, J10, J9). During the initial tests, we connected +15V…
Part Number: PGA281EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1259 , PGA281 Hi I am an intern experimenting on the PGA281EVM to amplify a signal.
I am new to the board, so i followed the circuit diagram from SBOS664A less the ADS1259 ADC.
The current setup…
Hi Hale,
Are you seeing this current spike on the PGA281EVM, or only on your custom board? Or does it occur on both boards?
VSP/VSN and VSOP are separate power supplies and turning on one supply should not force current through the other supply.
See below…
HI Andrew,
On the PGA281EVM Switch S1 allows the user to configure the PGA281 gain settings, where the user can pull down the PGA281 digital inputs with 100kOhm by setting the switch low, or pull-up with 1kOhm to set the digital pin high. I suspect that…
Hello Helder,
I have sent you a friend request so we can share the schematic via private conversation.
I will get a hold of the PGA281EVM and produce measurements with the G=88V/V. Please allow a couple of days.
The partial schematic shows different ground…
Part Number: PGA281 Hi Expert,
I am going to use PGA281 in my project and need to verify the performance of PGA281, can you tell me how to test below spec with PGA281EVM? Thank you!
1. Rin and Ro of PGA281
2.CMRR
3.Input offset current, input offset…
Part Number: PGA281 Dear Sir/madam,
Can I know, what is the bandwidth for this IC? What is the maximum frequency that we can input to the PGA281?
Need your advice if following connection is alright? 2.1) I need a PGA281 to use for a FPGA’s ADC. Below…
Hi Shivakant,
separating GND, DGND and AGND by ferrite beads is no good idea at all. Use the scheme shown in the EVM:

Good catch, Luis!

Hi,
We don't make an EVM specifically for the PGA280, but we do have one for the PGA281, which is functionally the same as the PGA280 but without the input multiplexer and second set of differential inputs. If this would work for you can purchase the…
