Ben, The recommendation for unused amplifiers (section 7.2) in this application note for a somewhat similar op amp should also apply to RC4136 (other than soft VOL).

Hi Tony, C: Comercial Temperature Range (0 to 70oC) N is the package naming. It shows the package in the dataseet. The TL075 is actually the same device as the TL074, but with different pinouts. If you are looking for drop-in device, then the…

Hello Michael, I searched the web for DIP adapters that would accommodate modern dual and quad SOIC packaged op amps. The LM3900N pin out is so unique I didn't find any DIP adapter that would work. I thought the old TI RC4136 quad op amp used the same…

Cimmaron (Brown Dog) is the best solution. Their adaptors are very small, within a DIP machine socket outline so they don't stick out on the sides. They are also gold flashed with gold Millimax pins. It's best to refit a machined socket when using them…

The OPA145 also looks like a good choice, this file has not been recently updated so the OPA196 is not in yet, and the pricing is out of date. OPA111A options.xlsx

to User473, I searched all the op amp portfolio with the parametric search (precision, general purpose, and high-speed). There are 6 options with temperatures of 150C and above (see attached). The best match is the OPA211-HT (210C max). This is the…

Mark, Please refer to pg. 32 for Bob Pease's comment on LM335. He basically said that 0.1uF+22ohm is fine. The article also pointed out a way to validate the stability empirically if you're interested in other cap values. Bob Pease Lab Notes Part…
