Part Number: SG2524 Hello,
My question concerns the current lmitation feature in the SG2524 IC. I have DC/DC insulated converter in which I wish to limit current if its value measured on the primary side increases over a certain threshold. Based on…
Part Number: SG2524 Hello,
My question is concerning the the generation of a PWM signal based on the value of the COMP pin on the SG2524. Basically what I want to do is to have an increased pulse width on my output when the value of the COMP pin increases…
Part Number: SG2524 Hello,
I am interested in using the SG2524 to control a DC/DC insulated converter. This converter should have a soft-start feature. When using the "compare" feature on the TI website to browse through integrated circuits according…
Hi Nicolas,
Thanks for your interest in SG2524. The current limit threshold is 200mV from CURR+ to CURR-. Take a look at section 9.3.5 in the datasheet for reference. www.ti.com/.../sg2524.pdf

Part Number: LM258 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SG2524 , , TLV272 Hello,
I'm having some issues with a current measurement on a newly designed PCB. I have a 2.5m current measurement resistor that is to carry a maximum of 20A. It is connected as…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SG2524 , UC28025 , UCC28950 , UCC2895 Dear All,
I have two questions about IC numbers:
1) what is the meaning of prefixes, ie UCC, UC, SG, TL? ( for example SG2524 or UCC2813 )
2) what is the meaning of digits after…
Tihomir,
It is not normal. I checked CT signal with CT = 2nF, RT=2k, VCC =15V, Vref cap = 0.1uF.

Check the layout for the CT capacitor connection to DUT GND pin.
TL494 - The error amplifier in the IC has severe capacitive loading restrictions on the amplifier output. ref: SLVA001E, page 11. We need capacitive load (type III compensation) at the amplifier output.
UCC35701 is not recommended below 20KHz. Also…
