Hello!
I think one should prefer the 56-Pin BGA package.
If the SN74ALVC164245 is obsolete one can use the SN74LVCH16T245 as second source?
The SN74LVCH16T245 is only available in 56-Pin BGA package.
What do you think about it?
Kind regards…

Thank you for your reply.
OK, I asked a very bad question…
Hi Prasath,
I can confirm that 250 Mbps data rate is supported for SN74AVCH16T245.
There is SN74LVCH16T245 which can work at 2.5V as well, however, i do not see the data rate supported on the datasheet. I would expect that to work at up to 320Mbps…

I would like to find out if this deign would work. I have a 90MHz LVDS signal that I would like to fanout and drive 50 ohm lines at ~ 5V CMOS level. My proposed solution…
Hi,
I found SN74LVCH16T245 very satisfying. I will use it in my design.
But I just found IBIS model for it. Is there any spice model available to simulate translation behavior?
Thank you very much.
Azlum,
There's an app note that details the LVC device characteristics. Page 18 has a section for floating inputs and the benefits of bus hold (shown below). The first paragraph shown below provides the answer to your question. The second paragraph…
Thanks for the info.
The datasheet for the SN74ALVC164245 says there are newer versions available. Is this part going to be phased out? Is is better to go with a 16T245 part?
What is the main difference between these parts (they all seem to be very…
