Part Number: TAS2557EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2557 Hi Sirs,
We have met some problems on TAS2557EVM operation.
We used it normally the day before, but we today we turned on the power for TAS2557EVM board, the PPC3 can’t connect to device…
Hi Jim,
I have tuned speakers with similar Impedance profiles. (2 resonance frequencies). for fitting the model during characterization you can work around this by excluding the second resonance from the model fit. For example from 200Hz-1100Hz.
Since…
Part Number: TAS2557EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2557 , Dear Engineer,
My TAS2557 EVM is controlled by External MCU (STM32) wiring I2C and I2S Interface, not using PPC3.
I'm using TAS2557EVM on Mode2 Scenario (PCM Input Playback + PCM IVsense…
Part Number: TAS2557EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2557 Hi, TI.
I'm planing to control TAS2557EVM using external I2C and I2S on STM32 MCU like below.
Please check below questions.
1. Are there any specific configuration for using external…
Part Number: TAS2557EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2557 Dear Expert,
I'm using Rom Mode2 for getting IV Sense data on I2S Interface.
To configuration, I used "End System Integration" on PPC3 like below sequence.
<Sequence>…
Part Number: TAS2557EVM Dear TI,
We have TAS2557EVM Board and we use PPC3 for controlling it.
In the "Test and Measurement" in PPC3, We can only select Rom Mode1 or Rom Mode2.
Below is my simple questions.
1. Can we use DSP speaker protection…
Part Number: TAS2557EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2557 , TAS2563 , TAS2562 Dear Expert,
I have some question of Boost Mode on Rom Mode2.
In the datesheet, boost mode is automatically enabled by the TAS2557 internal algorithm.
9.3.11.1 Boost…
Part Number: TAS2557EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2557 Dear Expert,
I have some questions about VI feedback data in Rom Mode2.
<ADC bit resolution and calculation>
In TAS2557 datasheet, we can get VI sensing data by Digital output using…
Hi Nick,
ROM mode 1 is a simple amplifier with digital input, signal processing features and IV-sense is disabled in this mode. ROM mode 2 is same as ROM 1, but with IV-sense enabled, signal processing features are still disabled.
Best regards, -Ivan S…
