Part Number: TAS5806M Hello everyone,
We are currently experiencing overcurrent troubles with the TAS5806M used in mono mode (PBTL) with a 4Ohm speaker.
We had already used this component successfully with an earlier proto board, where we were able to…
Part Number: TAS5806M Hello.
I have a question about the EEPROM.
If you look at the TAS5806MEVM, the EEPROM is connected as shown in the picture below.
1. Can I put DATA such as DRC and EQ TUNING in the EEPROM and drag it and use it?
2. On the PUREPATH…
Part Number: TAS5806M Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1808EVM , PCM1808 Hi,
I correctly configured the esp32 to receive audio via bluetooth and transmit it to the TAS5806M with sample_rate 44100 and bits_per_sample 16 and everything works correctly…
Part Number: TAS5806M Hi,
I would like to transmit the digital audio output from the SDOUT pin of the TAS5806M to 100 DACs simultaneously without having any signal loss.
What transmission method would you recommend?
Hi MJ.
Sorry, we have not done heatsinks for pad down packaged chips.
You can use TAS5828, this chip is pad up package which is easy to design and install heatsink.

Part Number: TAS5806M Dear,
We are using a (small) adapted evaluation board of this chip. Adaptions are minimal and can be shared later if needed.
We see when starting up that the LDO goes to +-2.6V at the AVDD pin and only goes for +- 25ms to 5V when…
Part Number: TAS5806M hey experts,
the datasheet says at cahpter 9.4.6.3:
To use the Hybrid Modulation, users need to enter the system's PVDD value on the TAS5806M PPC3 App.
I assume, because PPC3 needs the voltage of PVDD, also the chip itself needs…
Part Number: TAS5806M Hey experts,
application report SLOA263A describes three different process flows. One of them works with an DSP internal sample rate of 96kHz. May I ask, how to switch the DSP to 96kHz and setting up the SRC (input is at 48kHz)? …
Part Number: TAS5806M Dear team,
At datasheet of TAS5806M, We can see only Ambient operating temperature range.
Would you please let me know the junction temp range of TAS5806M?
The OTW level is 135°C and OTE level is 160 °C. Can I look at this level…
Hi, Shadow
Thanks for the reply.
I will check the above inquiries and contact you further.
Can you do EVM test of TAS5806M product?
If possible, please check how much output the EVM can produce under the condition of 4ohm load and what the PVDD voltage…
