Part Number: INA226 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00313 , Hi team, We have designed an isolated voltage monitoring system as per TIDA-00313. Below I add a few doubts about this. 1)Do we require to connect +volt external power supply for INA226 Vs…
Hello,
Here is a TI Reference Design that shows how to use the INA226 in isolation. Note, this could be adapted to the INA238 ect.

Hello Lukas,
You can actually still use the INA229 (SPI) or INA228 (I2C) if you add your own isolation. Here is an example of how his is done with the INA226 at -48V, but the concept can be applied to your setup as well: https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-0…
Part Number: INA226 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00313 , INA238 Hi Sir,
My customer refer to the TIDA-00313 Basic Block Diagram to do the INA226 application circuits for voltage sense from -23V to +36V.
Could you please help to review the schematics…
Hello Athiq,
That may work, depending on your supply. If your ±12V supply is floating, then you would be able to set the -12V as the system GND, making +12V an effective 24V above GND. This will affect the power/VBUS calculations as well though...…
Hello Anoop,
Thank you for using the TI forum. Here are my responses to your questions:

Yes, this can be used in a similar way as done in TIDA-00313 ( https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00313 ).

Part Number: INA231 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00313 , ISO1541 Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to use the INA231 to measure current on a -5.8V rail.
I have read through TIDA-00313 and come up with the following circuit.
Could someone please take…
Ah, ya, with 48V VCM, the INA226 will not work for you. I did not realize that you were using an isolator. You may want to look at our similar reference design: https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00313 . I have seen that when using an isolator, capacitors are…
Alberto,
You are correct. While biasing ground to a voltage <0V will provide a small amount of headroom for even lower negative common mode voltages, this will not allow you to get down to -20V.
There are a few options for common modes this low:
1…
