So you need some kind of protection IC or circuit to protect the FETs, like an e-fuse? Have you taken a look at TIDA-00795 which uses the INA300 in a shunt-based setup to be a resettable trip switch?

I was working with this TIDA-00795. But I think I have solved this problem now. My other question was what happens if the Limit pins are accidentally stuck together.

As per reference design http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00795 , the alert pin of INA300-Q1 goes low when 2A load applied. but according to that circuit latch pin is high, so my circuit didn't auto-recover after error condition is removed.…
